CLM Recognized for Support of the Guard and Reserve
CLM was presented with a Statement of Support for the National Guard and Reserve for efforts to support our military troops. CLM was recognized for the recent dedication of a Military Service Memorial Flagpole to honor those who have served and sacrificed. The dedication was made possible thanks to a designated donation made by the Searles Family, David, a US Army combat veteran and his wife Rebecca, who is a Case Manager at CLM. The memorial flagpole was officially dedicated at CLM in Derry at a ceremony held on November 23, 2015
In his comments at the dedication Vic Topo, CLM President and CEO stated, “This dedication is about honoring those who have served and sacrificed as well as a reminder of our commitment to care for service members and their families. It is about honoring the brave men and women who serve, as well as the spouses, parents and children of military families who also make great sacrifices of their own.”
Presenting the certificate on behalf of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the Department of Defense, was James Moody, ESGR Community Liaison. According to Moody, “The Statement confirms that a company pledges to fully recognize, honor and enforce the Uniformed Services Employment and Re-Employment Rights Act. The intent is also to recognize outstanding support that goes above and beyond meeting the requirements of law. The memorial recently dedicated at the Center for Life Management is certainly an example of outstanding support and worthy of recognition,” noted Moody.
