How to Beat the Holiday Blues
The holiday season is upon us, and for many, that means spending time with family, enjoying holiday parties and seeing old friends. But the holiday season can also trigger symptoms of anxiety and depression. For many, it's that time of year when they experience the Holiday Blues.
Decreased sunlight in the winter months, overscheduling and unrealistic expectations about our holiday season experiences are just a few things that can contribute to the holiday blues. But little things like making sure you have time to exercise, sleep and relax can help mitigate symptoms like fatigue, oversleeping and isolationism, and can help ease you out of a seasonal slump.
