The New Hampshire House of Representatives has adopted and narrowly passed the State budget for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. The budget process now moves to the Senate, where deliberations are underway. We are hopeful the Senate will recognize the critical need to restore essential funding to ensure continued support for individuals across the state.
This is a pivotal and challenging time for New Hampshire’s Community Mental Health Centers. The funding cuts included in the House version of the budget risk a significant step backward for mental health care in our state.
Please find below, link to a memorandum that outlines the serious challenges we face as a community and the potential consequences of the proposed reductions.

We make Charitable Care assistance available to ease barriers to the help you need.
When payment of your care creates a financial hardship, you may qualify for charitable care, which is free or discounted health care provided to low income, uninsured or underinsured clients. Working with our benefit specialists is the first step toward finding out if you may be eligible for financial assistance. Applications can be obtained online or by visiting either CLM facility. CLM will not discriminate in the determination of financial assistance eligibility on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital status, creed, age, sex or disability.
Eligibility
Eligibility and the amount of financial assistance that you qualify for is based on an individualized assessment by CLM.
Client must reside within CLM’s service area: Atkinson, Chester, Danville, Derry, Hampstead, Newton, Pelham, Plaistow, Salem, Sandown, Windham to qaulify for charitable care.
