Important Update from NH Community Behavioral Health Association. Impact of NH Budget on Community Mental Health Centers.

Dear friends and colleagues of community mental health, The New Hampshire House of Representatives has adopted and narrowly passed the State budget for Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027. The budget process now moves to the Senate, where deliberations are underway. We are hopeful the Senate will recognize the critical need to restore essential funding to ensure continued support for individuals across the state. This is a pivotal and challenging time for New Hampshire’s Community Mental Health Centers. The funding cuts included in the House version of the budget risk a significant step backward for mental health care in our state. Please find below, link to a memorandum that outlines the serious challenges we face as a community and the potential consequences of the proposed reductions. Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for your continued support of mental health services in New Hampshire. Respectfully, NH Community Behavioral Health Association Click Here for Full Memorandum Statement

TMS Treatment:  Approved for Adolescent Depression and Adult Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder

Our TMS program was established 12 years ago, when CLM first began offering TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) therapy, an FDA-approved treatment for adults experiencing major depression.  Recently NeuroStar TMS became FDA-cleared for additional populations, making way for CLM’s program to expand its reach. TMS treatment is now available for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adults as well as adolescent depression for youth ages 15 and older. TMS is a non-invasive, non-medication treatment that uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, which can help alleviate symptoms when other treatments may not have been effective.

CLM’s TMS program is designed to complement existing treatment options and can be a valuable addition to the care plans for clients struggling with these conditions. We provide comprehensive evaluations that are provided by Lisa Williams, APRN-BC, DNP, to determine candidacy and ensure personalized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs. Our patients are experiencing excellent results:

Adult Treatment for Depression: 36 treatment sessions lasting as little as 19 minutes per day. 83% of clients report improvement in their depression symptoms and 62% report symptom relief/remission.

Adult Treatment for OCD:  29 treatment sessions lasting as little as 19 minutes per day, 57.9% of clients report improvement in their Y-BOCS (Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale) score and 52.4% report a sustained response.

Adolescent Treatment for Depression: 36 treatment sessions lasting as little as 19 minutes per day with 78% of adolescents reporting improvement in their depression symptoms and 48% report symptom relief remission.
