OVERDOSE AWARENESS DAY

Please join the South Central NH Public Health Network, SoRock NH and On the Road to Wellness for an evening of remembrance, connection, and hope. The evening will include guest speakers, love from Jaxon the therapy dog, and food from Heavens Kitchen Food truck as we honor International Overdose Awareness Day and stand together in support of recovery.
DERRYFEST 2026
DATE: Saturday, September 19

Derryfest will take place September 19th from 10am to 4pm at MacGregor Park in Downtown Derry! Come visit our booth for a FREE “kids of all ages” coloring craft, giveaways and information about mental health services and resources. A grand Derry tradition, we can’t wait for the big day!
SALEM SENIOR HEALTH FAIR

We’re happy to join other community organizations at this well attended annual event! Learns about area services and supports for seniors, socialize with other community folks, and stroll the exhibits for free giveaways, raffle prizes and helpful information!
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS DAY AT NEW DERRY FIRE STATION HEADQUARTERS
DATE: Sunday, September 27
TIME: 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
LOCATION: Derry Fire Headquarters, 56 Rockingham Road, Derry
The purpose of this event is to empower people with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to respond to and recover from emergencies.
Coordinated by: The South Central Public Health Network in collaboration with Derry Fire & EMS, Parkland Medical Center, South Central MRC, American Red Cross, Salvation Army, Center for Life Management, The Whole Community, and Derry CERT. (Community Crossroads TBD)
Stations will offer educational activities, materials, and resources to promote emergency preparedness.
Topics covered will be:
o Until Help Arrives education (what to do when you’re first on scene of an accident/emergency)
o How to build an Emergency Go-Kit with weather safety tips, pets, etc.
o Stop the Bleed / Bleeding Control – Parkland
o Narcan Administration (separate table for those interested)
o Hands only CPR – Red Cross
o Fire Suppression: Fire Extinguisher trainer – digital unit. Borrowed from NH DHHS Warehouse
o Salvation Army trailer/canteen/table with EP materials & raffle
o Mental Health resources & stress management skills
o Resource tables for individuals / families with disabilities:
